Jesus was talking to the woman at the well here. Which shows how much love He had for people ( Him being a Jew and she was a Samaritan and a woman) it was not how it was done then, but anyway He was talking to her. And He was telling her a time was coming when you would not have to go to the temple to worship God. God was right where you are you can worship Him where ever you are. And that is still true for you today where ever you are what ever is going on in your life you can look up and say Father God I need you I can’t do this alone, and He will always be right there beside you.
